The Exhibition "Da boca pra fora"
It was from the insisting repetition of tired forms and anatomies that the flaws appeared. Hibrid breaches that, once accumulated, migrated from error to language. What I leave here is the attempt to reach something and swallow it whole with gesture. To paint it da boca pra fora (from the inside to the outside, reactively). Bodies which are deformed, fleeing, regurgitated a thousand times by the tip of the fingers, that appropriated the hand which dig them from paper.

About the Artist
Violeta Guerreiro (born in 2005, Lisbon) lives and works between Caldas da Rainha and Lisbon. She is completing her degree at ESAD.CR. Her practice spans sculpture, painting and drawing, exploring mainly human and anthropomorphic forms.

By Metro: We're situated a 5-minute walk from the Campo Pequeno metro (Yellow line) and a 10-minute walk from the Alameda metro (Green & Red lines).
By Bus: There are many convenient bus options 2 blocks away from us on Avenida República, with the closest stop to our store being Campo Pequeno-Av. Republica.
By Bike: If you're using the Gira public bicycles, there is a docking station right across the street (#431 - Rua do Arco Cego / Av. Magalhães Lima).
By Car: There is a paid parking lot across the street, between Rua Arco do Cego and Rua Dona Filipa de Vilhena. Street parking is also available around the neighborhood.
