Art Talk "Murder, Revenge, Jealousy, Assassination" with Jeanne Couaillier
Join us for an evening of incredible and often untold stories of women in art hosted by Jeanne Couaillier!
Art history is full of crimes and artists have made some of them unforgettable. From gods taking revenge to kings killing their sons, from political assassinations to crimes of passion, this is a journey through the darker side of art. Why have artists kept turning murder, betrayal and punishment into images...
and why do we keep looking?
Come discover when violence becomes an image, when crime becomes a story, and when horror becomes beautiful.
