Join us for the workshop with artist Hannah Robinson and illustrate your own recipe card!
In this workshop we will dive into the visual world of cookbooks and menus from past and present, using it to inspire our own drawings. From cookbook covers, interior recipe illustrations to restaurant menus, food and cooking has always gone hand in hand with beautiful visuals. In an age when much of our cooking culture now comes from 10 second instagram reels, this workshop aims to bring us back to the slower, more personal approach to recipe sharing. By the end of the session, we will create our own illustrated recipe card, one that can be kept or shared with someone special.
What do you need to bring?
Come prepared with one or several recipes that you are happy to share with the group. Though art materials will be provided, feel free to bring your favourite pens and paper.
Who is this event for?
This event is designed for adults. No artistic experience needed, though an enthusiasm for cooking is helpful.
