About The Artists
Pip Marinho - Always earnest, always relatable. Under the Radar Magazine (US) calls them "Lisbon’s finest new musical export". Through their guitar fingerpicking and emotionally charged voice, Portuguese singer-songwriter Pip Marinho (formerly known as Marinho) underscores life’s delicate nuances between holding pain and releasing it. Cathartic resolutions come in the form of alternative folk rock songs they’ve written and assembled on their 2019 debut album ”~” (read ‘tilde’) and other works they’re preparing to release. Their deeply personal and confessional music is undoubtedly cementing their growing reputation.Pip has opened for the likes of Allegra Krieger, Anna St. Louis, Alice Phoebe Lou, Manel Cruz and more. They've played extensively in Portugal and have taken steps into international touring in the UK and Europe. Some press have compared them to Buck Meek (Big Thief), Black Belt Eagle Scout and even beloved rock icon Alanis Morissette. Go figure.
Tiago Saga is pure mongrel – a medley of English, Lebanese and Spanish heritage, raised at “The End of the World”, the windswept southwest of Portugal, with Bob Dylan, Kate Bush, Talking Heads and Billie Holiday sweeping through the house. His music melts these influences into folk for the modern era, emotional and raw yet laced with humour, and contemporary narratives, inviting listeners to dance and cry, sometimes at the same time.
While studying contemporary composition at University in Brighton, he formed Time for T, a band that went on to play festivals like NOS Alive, Green Man and Vodafone Paredes de Coura, with tours across Europe, the USA, Lebanon and Mexico. His songs topped the Spotify UK Viral Chart and received airplay on BBC Radio 1, Deutschlandfunk Kultur, Antena 3 and Radio 3, surpassing 6 million streams.
Now based in Lisbon, Saga produces for himself and others, composes soundtracks for film, and is preparing his first solo album, due in 2026.
