Join us for an afternoon of creativity, storytelling, and speculative fiction. Imaginauta, a non-profit cultural association dedicated to speculative fiction, invites you to join their annual literary challenge It’s Alive! at Good Company Bookstore.
For one afternoon, writers and illustrators — amateur and professional alike — will come together to create original short stories and artworks inspired by speculative fiction.
The event takes its cue from the legendary night when Lord Byron challenged Percy and Mary Shelley and John Polidori to each write a horror tale — an evening that gave the world Frankenstein and other iconic works.
Now in its sixth edition, It’s Alive! continues this spirit of creativity, mixing the writing and illustration challenge with ice-breaker activities, literary games, and live readings. It’s both a celebration of Mary Shelley, the mother of science fiction, and an opportunity to spark your own imagination.
Tickets:
Entrance is €7 (includes one non-alcoholic drink & annual Imaginauta membership). Please register directly with Imaginauta via their Google Form.
