About The Artists -
Charlotte Algar is a London-born singer and classical guitarist in love with Brazilian music. In 2020 she moved to Lisbon, and from there embarked on a musical journey that quickly led her to perform at Casa do Choro (Rio de Janeiro), Bona Casa de Música (São Paulo) amongst many other notable venues in Brazil, Portugal and the UK.
In 2024 she released her first album, 'Tejo', created in homage to some of the great Brazilian composers. The album is primarily a work of voice and guitar, demonstrating her instrumental prowess with detailed accompaniments supporting visceral, virtuosic vocal interpretations.
Marta Fonseca is a Portuguese classical guitarist with a diverse career, performing styles from baroque to contemporary and folk, as both a soloist and chamber musician. She has won several awards, including the audience prize at the International Guitar Competition of Madrid in 2022. Marta has performed as a soloist in cities such as Amsterdam, Madrid, Weimar, Basel, Trento, and recently at the Juilliard School in New York. She is involved in projects like "Duo Arco da Velha" (a violin/guitar duo) and "Fado Meets Mozart" (a quartet blending classical and fado) and collaborates with Portuguese singer A Sul by composing guitar arrangements for her concerts.
Event Timings -
7.00pm - Doors open. Grab a drink and say hello before the music starts.
7.20pm - The music is due to begin. Chairs are first come, first serve but we also have plenty of standing and floor seating space available. Two artists will perform with a short interval in between.
9.00pm - The show should be finished, feel free to grab a final night-cap and browse our books before we close at 9.30pm.

Tickets -
Entrance for the concert is €5. Places are limited and we often sell-out, so we strongly suggest purchasing tickets beforehand. However, if we are not sold out, tickets will also be available at the door. Chairs are first come, first serve but we also have plenty of standing and floor seating space available.
