Join us for an evening of Portuguese poetry, creativity, and community at Good Company Bookstore, with our host, Bernardo Gramaxo. Whether you are a poet, poetry lover, or simply curious, this is an opportunity to share words, listen, and connect with other literature enthusiasts.
What to expect from the event?
The evening will begin with some readings by Bernardo before we open the mic to anyone who wants to share their poetry in a warm and welcoming environment.
This event is to celebrate Portuguese poetry, so if you want to perform, prepare 1 or 2 poems in Portuguese.
Not an artist? No problem! You are more than welcome to attend and enjoy the readings as part of the audience.
Who is this event for?
This event is for anyone who enjoys poetry - whether you're an experienced poet, an aspiring writer, or simply a poetry enthusiast who enjoys listening to spoken word.
Participation in this event is free, but we ask that you register in advance so we know how many people to expect. Seating is limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
